I miss you man... / Lonnie Bowen (Brother)
I miss you so much man... I hope your wife and daughter are still holding up okay and I hope they and your family didn't hurt for too long... I can't believe it's been 4 years since you and Derek left us. We've lost a lot of great guys since then and it seems like it just won't stop... Just wondering why my number hasn't come up yet... Why you had to get taken away from your beautiful and young family... It doesn't get any easier with time bro... Rest Easy Robby. Until Valhalla. Close

Proud to have served with Reyes / Rod Wilson (VMM-261 Flight Line )
This Memorial Day I took my kids to the Jacksonville, NC veterans cemetery. They planted flags like we do every Memorial Day but today I told them about Robby and what kind of Marine he was. He was a strong worker. He had a quite dignity, worked without complaint, and was respected by the other crew chiefs. We talked about his plans to get out and become an LAPD officer. My oldest was sad when I showed them the pictures of his family. He will never be forgotten by our family or any of the Marines that served with him in the Raging Bulls Flight Line. Rage on Cpl Reyes you were the epitome of the Marine Corps motto "Semper Fidelis" and I was proud to serve with you and your brothers in the VMM-261Flight Line shop.

This is addressed to all of the Reyes Family. I was truly one of the honored ones to be allowed the priviledge to escort Robby home. I am so sorry for the loss of Robby. He sounds like the kind of guy you feel blessed to have known. I did not know Robby personally but I feel like thru the family and friends, we learned to know him and the love he had for both his family, friends, and Country. Robbie sounds as thou he always had a smile on his face and really found the good in everyone.... Thank you for allowing us "Patriot Guard Riders" to attend your service.
Our prayers will always be with you............
Rest in Peace my brother, stand down you have done your duty.

American Hero / Paul (PeaceKeeper) Anderson (Patriot Guard Rider )
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Cpl Robby Reyes. Although I did not personally know Robby, I knew him as he answered the call to duty. The freedoms we enjoy in America are a result of those like Robby, without them there would be no freedom.
I sent Ava a letter from her daddy via separate email.
Robby, stand down, your mission is complete, Go with God and Rest in Peace.
A sad honor / Bob Dwyer (Another Marine )
It was an honor- a very sad honor- for me to participate in the Patriot Guard honor guard for Robby. As a no longer on active duty Marine the passing of any Marine is painful, but the outpouring of affection for this Marine and his family hopefully is some measure of comfort to the family. God bless you all.
Thoughts, prayers, and sincere condolences out to everyone that knew Robby. His family, friends, and brothers and sisters of the Marines. To me Robby was more than just a fellow Marine. He taught me everything I knew about the Osprey, taught me about the Marines, and mentored me into what I am today. He paid the ultimate sacrifice for us and will not be forgotten. RIP Rob.

Dear Reyes Family,
Thank you for your son, your husband, and beloved member of your family. This community, the country, and the world all mourn the loss of Cpl. Reyes, USMC. Cpl. Reyes' desire to serve God and country is to be commended by all. As a mother of an active-duty U.S. Marine Reservist, my heart and pain for the loss of a precious son is with your family. At this time of sorrow, please know that your beloved Robby will not be forgotten; but rather, Cpl. Reyes is a true American hero to us all. Robby will live in our hearts forever. I pray that God our Lord comforts your hearts.
As long as Cpl. Reyes' banner is up on Haven & Foothill, I will visit Robby's site and clean-up any debris that may have flown in. Please know that the community supports your family.

25 years was long enough to be considered a hero for our country but not nearly long enough to live a lifetime.. Candice my heart breaks for what you're facing, but I'm glad you and Ava have such a strong family support system. From all of heard from friends and family Robby was a wonderful young man. May God turn your sorrow to joy in time. Close

My Condolences / Mark Cerecerez (Pop Warner Football Coach )
Even as a young boy playing Pop Warner I remember Robby quiet, but hard working and always giving his all. He also encouraged others to give their all. He was quiet not because he had nothing to say but because he was observing and learning. Another thing I remember about Robby is most of the time he had a great big smile.
Hero/ Justin Brophy (Family Friend )
Robby was a marine but the first word which comes to my mind to describe him as a person is "Hero". He will be missed and was loved by his family and friends more than imaginable. I knew Robby through Johnny as our families have been close friends for over 20 years. I offer my deepest condolences to the family and will always be there for the entire Reyes family. Rest in peace Robby. Close
