Dear Family and Friends,
Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly along my side, Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say; Perhaps you were not there at all, just thoughts and prayers of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much whatever the part......
To Marine Gunnery Sgt. Kirk for his amazing guidance, patience and help. To Cpl. Morales for escorting Robby back home and for his friendship. To the Marines and Military (especially to the friends and families who could take the time off to be there), to The Patriot Guards for escorting us to and from our destinations, the Rancho Cucamonga Mayor Dennis Michael, City Council, Police and Fire Departments including: RC, Ontario, Upland, Montclair, Pomona and LA County. Also to Pastor Jim Orate and everyone at Calvary Chapel, Central Park, USO, American Red Cross, Forest Lawn, our family, friends, volunteers and well wishers.
Lastly, thank you for your thoughtful contributions to Ava's Trust Fund. I hope that one day she will know how much her daddy loved her and was a hero to all of us!

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Marine Cpl. Robby Reyes who was born in California on 02 March, 1987 and passed away on 11 April, 2012 at the age of 25. We will remember him forever.
Robby a wonderful, loving, and caring person married Candice Roule on November 28, 2008 after dating throughout High School. On March 25, 2009, their healthy, beautiful daughter Ava Penelope Reyes was born.
Both attended Etiwanda HS in Etiwanda, CA. Robby graduated in 2005 and Candice Reyes followed in 2007. Robby joined the Marine Corps in December of the same year.
Outside of work he loved to spend time with Candice and Ava. Some of their favorite things to do, driving to Busch Gardens, Virgina, picnicking on the NC beaches/parks, hanging out with friends or relaxing at home. Robby’s favorite football team the Detroit Lions. He enjoyed reading, watching the history channel, playing the guitar and listening to music.
In the Marine Corps, Cpl. Reyes served as a crew chief working on the MV-22 Osprey aircraft, at New River Air Station in North Carolina. He deployed in March of 2012 to serve on the USS Iwo Jima. Two short weeks later, the U.S. Marine Corps informed Candice that Robby had passed away in a military training exercise. Robby is survived by his wife, Candice Reyes, his daughter Ava Reyes, his mother and father: Yvonne and Richard Reyes, and his siblings: Johnny, Valerie, Danny, and Tommy Reyes. Robby is also survived by his father and mother-in-law Jeff and Shelly Roule and Candice’s siblings Steven and Stacie.
Marines Cpl Robby Reyes and Cpl Derek Kerns are honored while at sea.
